Kensington at Reston

Kensington at Reston was designed to make residents feel important, independent, and, most importantly, at home. A four-story building provides 37 assisted living and 38 memory care residences. With two levels of progressive memory in separate, secure neighborhoods, the community includes tailored, customized care for residents.

The connections neighborhood offers support for with early to mid-stage dementia, while the haven neighborhood accommodates individuals with mid- to late- stage challenges. Both provide specialized areas for fully customized small group activities that are secure and intimate, including porches, patios, gardens, and terraces. These neighborhoods also feature adaptive design features, such as painted walls and doors, motion sensors, specially designed carpet, and memory boxes to foster recognition and minimize confusion. An underground parking garage, a variety of dining rooms, and a salon foster convenience, socialization, and connection.
