Moseley (formerly Moseley Architects) today unveiled a comprehensive rebrand including a simplified name, new visual identity and refreshed messaging. The rebrand simplifies the company name while introducing refined positioning captured in their new brand promise: “The Art of Balance.”
Simplified Name
The rebrand simplifies the company name while introducing a refined positioning that better represents their integrated approach to design. This change marks an important milestone in the company’s growth as they continue to deliver architecture, engineering, interior design and planning services.
The Art of Balance
The strategic evolution of the firm’s brand better communicates Moseley’s interdisciplinary approach to creating transformative community spaces that balance competing interests and needs. Moseley’s approach to design emphasizes the delicate interplay between community engagement, design excellence and stewardship, with these elements working in harmony for every project. The firm equates this balance to an elaborate mobile with different elements in delicate equilibrium, responding fluidly to surrounding influences.
This approach is structured around four key brand pillars:
- Authentic Community Engagement: Building relationships that transcend transactions to understand client visions and deliver beyond expectations
- Intentional Design: Balancing form and function while respecting local context, culture and history
- Smart Stewardship: Careful management of community resources, the environment and long-term building performance
- Inspired Solutions: Finding compelling solutions at the intersection of competing interests
“This refresh emphasizes who we already are while giving us a clearer way to articulate our values and approach,” said President and CEO Jeff Hyder. “We’ll continue our commitment to improving communities with designs that inspire and unite, maintaining our interdisciplinary structure and dedication to client service.”
The rebrand, developed in partnership with Toky, a consulting agency specializing in AEC branding, involved extensive input from leadership, staff and clients through interviews, surveys and collaborative workshops.
Clients will see the new brand implemented across all touchpoints beginning April 22, 2025, including the firm’s website at moseleydesigns.com. While the identity has evolved, clients will continue working with the same dedicated professionals, with no changes to ongoing projects and contracts.
