As the first of two phases, this project centered on the renovation of 118 affordable townhomes and flat-style apartments. Rehabilitation plans emphasize environmental stewardship to help improve the quality of life and energy efficiency of the community.
Twelve units were designed to meet accessibility standards. The existing leasing office was renovated to include new rooftop solar panels, a multi-purpose room for community meetings and resident programs, a workshop, and storage. This project received funding from the Community Development Authority and Department of Housing and Urban Development.
