Replacing an outdated facility on the same site, the new fire-rescue station provides additional support spaces for the fire department and the community. Features include three double-loaded apparatus bays equipped with radiant heaters and a Plymovent exhaust capture system, a tool room, separate enclosed turn-out gear storage, and decontamination space with provisions for an extractor.

Living spaces include 10 individual beds divided between three sleeping rooms, toilet and shower facilities, a dayroom, laundry room, full kitchen, and an exercise room. Community and office spaces include three private offices, a radio and communications room, a training room to seat 40, a lobby, and public toilets.
