Stephen began paving the path toward his career early on, exploring a natural interest in the built environment throughout his youth. Whether sketching buildings during recess or poring over his childhood copy of Architectural Graphics Standards, his inclination toward design has guided him for as long as he can remember. This lifelong passion has only strengthened over time, playing out in his current role as a principal within Moseley’s K-12 sector. As Stephen navigates each new project, he is driven by the opportunity to create well-designed instructional environments that will benefit stakeholders while advancing academic outcomes.

His greatest sources of inspiration are Moseley’s clients. He takes great care in establishing deep connections with those he serves, resulting in a thorough understanding of their goals and what drives each unique project. Stephen works to translate this information into impactful educational spaces that can adapt to the needs of students and teachers for years to come.

From partnering with stakeholders to problem-solving with colleagues, he prioritizes listening well and creating a culture of teamwork. This approach stems from the belief that collaborative environments focused on shared goals generate excellent, innovative designs. Stephen believes that leading with this level of mutual respect and open communication is vital not only to internal growth and development but also to meaningful results.
