David serves as Moseley’s higher education sector leader, bringing over two decades of experience in Virginia, North Carolina, and Maryland to the role. His focus is to secure new design opportunities, create and maintain loyal client connections, build strong team collaboration, and equip those he leads with the tools needed for collective success. Applying this framework, David empowers others to design spaces that balance ingenuity and accessibility, cultivating a sense of belonging rooted in human connection.

His approach is forward-thinking, carefully considering both current and future stakeholders in project details. The inclusion of sustainable elements reflects this, supporting resiliency and long-term functionality. Guided by these principles, his hope is that each project will evoke a strong sense of community, delight the senses, and meet the practical needs of students, educators, and visitors for years to come.

As a leader, David’s primary goal is to encourage those around him. He believes that a positive environment that celebrates individual strengths nurtures perseverance, learning, and growth. David also finds that by acknowledging each team member’s unique perspective and skill set, innovation naturally emerges. He, therefore, creates room for new ideas that best support the clients and communities he serves.
